Exploring can also lead to more weapons and new powerups for your character.Like other "BioShock" games, "BioShock 2" lets players hack into various electrical equipment. Your plasmids cost energy, and you must constantly scour Rapture for items to replenish it. For example, you can stun an enemy with electricity and use a drill to finish him off. In "BioShock 2," you can use a weapon and a plasmid at the same time. For example, one plasmid can light your enemies on fire while another electrocutes them. Your character can use plasmids, which are special tonics that bestow special abilities upon you. In addition to attacking from afar, each weapon can also devastate your enemies at close range.
